Thundr alternative
Thundr is an adults-only random video chat site with real-time automated moderation. So is Spoqi. Where the two part company is what is written down when something goes wrong.
Free, no account, works in this browser. 18+.
Evidence, or nothing at all
Thundr's terms describe a system that, on detecting a violation, generates detailed reports including the user's IP address and screenshots. That is a coherent position: it lets a service substantiate what happened, act on it, and cooperate with authorities.
Spoqi made the opposite call, and the cost is real. Nothing is recorded — no video, no screenshots, no transcript. We hold a random device id, and an address only where a ban is involved. That means we cannot show anybody what happened in a chat, and a report is judged on what the reporter says and on that device's history rather than on evidence we kept.
The upside is the same fact from the other side: there is nothing about you to leak, lose or be compelled to produce, because it was never collected.
What is checked while you are on camera
- In your own browser first. A model cuts your video in about a second if it sees nudity, before the other person has seen much. Those frames never leave your device.
- Then on our servers, which is the layer that issues bans.
- More often once there is a reason. A single flagged frame is a warning; from that point you are sampled at a shorter interval.
- Apparent age too, not only nudity. A confirmed reading under eighteen ends the chat and blocks the device.
Spoqi is not Thundr. We are a separate, independent service with no affiliation to it, and no connection to whoever runs it. We name it here because it is what people are looking for when they find this page.
