Bazoocam is a French random video chat site with two things Spoqi does not have: matching that leans on where you are, and little games you can play with the person you are talking to. If those are the appeal, this page is going to talk you out of switching.

What Bazoocam has that we do not

  • Games. Multiplayer games you play with your match while you talk. Spoqi has none, and none planned.
  • Local matching. Bazoocam favours people near you, which helps if you want the same time zone or the same language. Spoqi pairs with whoever is waiting.

What Spoqi has instead

  • Nudity detection that runs before anything is sent. On your own device, cutting the camera in about a second. The frames never leave your machine.
  • A server-side check that issues bans, because a check on somebody's own computer can be switched off by them.
  • Nothing recorded, at all. No video, no screenshots, no transcript, and no place in the database one could go.
  • Three layouts and a light theme, remembered between visits.

Both are free and neither asks you to register. The honest summary is that Bazoocam is the more playful site and Spoqi is the more careful one.

Spoqi is not Bazoocam. We are a separate, independent service with no affiliation to it, and no connection to whoever runs it. We name it here because it is what people are looking for when they find this page.

Questions people ask

What is Bazoocam?
A random video chat site that started in France. It is free and needs no registration, matches partly by location so you tend to get people near you, and has small multiplayer games you can play with your match while you talk.
Does Spoqi have games?
No. Spoqi is video and text chat and nothing else. If the games are what you like about Bazoocam, Spoqi will not replace them.
Does Spoqi match me with people nearby?
No. Pairing is with whoever is waiting, wherever they are. You are shown which country the other person is connecting from once you are paired.
What does Spoqi do that is different?
The checking. A model in your own browser cuts your camera within about a second if it sees nudity, before it has been transmitted, and a second check on our servers issues bans. Nothing is recorded.
Is registration required?
No, on either. Spoqi has no accounts at all.
