OmeTV alternative
OmeTV is app-first, well established, and has actual humans reviewing reports. The interesting difference is not features — it is what each service keeps about you.
Free, no account, works in this browser. 18+.
Two opposite answers to the same problem
When you report somebody on OmeTV, its rules page says moderators receive a screenshot of that person’s video along with your complaint. That is a defensible design: a human sees evidence before anybody is removed, so fewer people are banned for something they did not do.
Spoqi made the opposite call. Nothing is recorded — no video, no screenshots, no transcript. The consequence is stated plainly on our privacy page: a report is judged on what the reporter says and on that device’s history, not on evidence we kept.
Neither is obviously right, and the trade is honest in both directions. OmeTV can substantiate a report and holds an image of you in order to. Spoqi holds nothing about you and therefore cannot substantiate anything.
What Spoqi does instead of a moderation queue
- A check before anything is transmitted. A model runs on your own device and cuts your camera in about a second if it sees nudity. Those frames never leave your machine.
- A second check that issues bans, on our servers, because anything running on somebody’s own computer can be switched off by them.
- A closer look once there is a reason. One flagged frame is a warning rather than a ban, but from that moment you are sampled more often — which is what catches somebody who stops the instant they think nobody is watching.
On age, for both
Both services say 18 and over. In August 2025 Australia’s eSafety Commissioner issued a formal warning to OmeTV’s owner, saying the app did not have enough safety tools to stop children being contacted by adults, and reviewers have repeatedly noted younger users getting on regardless.
A checkbox is a checkbox, and Spoqi has one like everybody else. What differs is that ours is not the only check: apparent age is estimated continuously while you are on camera, and a confirmed reading under eighteen ends the chat and blocks the device.
Spoqi is not OmeTV. We are a separate, independent service with no affiliation to it, and no connection to whoever runs it. We name it here because it is what people are looking for when they find this page.
