Joingy is the closest thing on this list to what Spoqi does: random one-to-one chat, no registration, adults only. It has two things we deliberately do not, and one thing we do that it does not.

What Joingy has that Spoqi does not

  • Interest matching. Its site lets you add keywords and be paired with people online who share them, including matching on LGBTQ+ orientation. Spoqi has nothing like it.
  • A text-only mode. Spoqi has text chat beside the video, but no way to use it without a camera.

Both of those are real, and if either is what you came for then Joingy is the better fit.

What Spoqi does differently

The check that matters most happens before anything is sent. A model runs on your own device, watches your camera and cuts the outgoing video in about a second if it sees nudity — those frames never leave your machine. A second check on our servers is the one that issues bans, because anything running on somebody's own computer can be switched off by them.

Beyond that: three video layouts, a light theme that follows your system, and a report button that keeps working after you have pressed next, showing you the last few people you spoke to so you can point at the right one.

Spoqi is not Joingy. We are a separate, independent service with no affiliation to it, and no connection to whoever runs it. We name it here because it is what people are looking for when they find this page.

Questions people ask

What is Joingy?
A random stranger chat site offering both text and video. Its own site says no registration or sign-up is required, that all users must be at least 18, and that it has an interests feature where you add keywords to be matched with people who share them.
Does Spoqi have interest matching?
No. Spoqi pairs you with whoever has been waiting longest, and you are told which country they are connecting from once you are paired. If matching on interests is what you want, Joingy has it and we do not.
Does Spoqi have text-only chat?
No. There is text chat alongside the video, but no text-only mode. Spoqi is one thing: video, with one stranger, now.
So what is different?
Where the first check happens. A model runs in your own browser and cuts your camera within about a second if it sees nudity, before it has been transmitted. A second check on our servers is what issues bans.
Do either of them need an account?
Neither does. Spoqi has no accounts at all — there is no way to make one.
