Spoqi is one stranger on camera with another. That only works if everybody keeps to a short list, so the list is short.

You must be 18 or older

There is no exception and there is no supervised version of this. Your age is estimated automatically from your own camera while you chat. If the check reads you as under 18, the chat ends and the device is blocked.

No nudity, and nothing sexual

Spoqi is not an adult site. Keep your clothes on. Your camera is checked twice over: once by your own browser, on your own device, which will cut your camera off within a second or so of seeing anything; and once on our server, which is what decides a ban. A confirmed hit ends the chat and blocks the device permanently. One flagged frame is a warning on screen, because a poster on a wall is not a person — two in a row is.

No harassment, threats or hate

Press Next the moment you want to be somewhere else. Use Report if someone crossed a line; reports are recorded against that device. You can report someone after you have already moved on — the report button shows the last few people you spoke to, with a picture from each chat so you can pick the right one.

What happens when you break them

Bans are permanent and are applied to the device and the connection, not to an account — there are no accounts here. There is no appeal form, because there is no recording to appeal against; see Privacy for why nothing is kept.
